Location: Pilot-Captain position will be based out of Mexico, and operate out of or in various other Central American countries
Relocation to Mexico for 1 year is required
Job Purpose:
This King Air 90 Captain role exists to provide single-pilot expertise to our Sterile Insect Technique Operations based out of Mexico and operating out of and within the airspace of various other Central American countries (e.g. Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras) to meet company requirements and customer needs.
Duties:
Pilot the King Air 90 as a single pilot Captain in a safe and professional manner
Be familiar with destination, alternate airports, actual and forecasted meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
Ensure completion of pre
– and post-flight inspection of the aircraft before and after each mission
Fly accurately in relation to mission criteria
Communicate effectively with base manager, customer, and system operations center.
Complete daily, weekly or monthly digital reports (maintenance records, timesheets, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
FAA Commercial / Instrument / Multi-Engine license
A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time
A minimum of 500 hours PIC in an airplane
50 hours PIC instrument (simulated or in flight) preferred
50 hours PIC ME fixed wing in the last 12 months preferred
100 hours total time in Beechcraft King Air preferred
100 hours turbine time preferred
Ability to qualify as a single pilot captain
Possess at least a 2nd class medical
Relocation to Mexico for a minimum of 1 Year is required
Ability to work as a team member
FAA A&P maintenance certificate (preferred)
Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Prior cross-cultural and foreign language experience (preferred)
